I’ve been fired up about the World Cup, not least because my sister has attended two of the USA games (England, Slovenia) and because, well, I have a lot of fond memories about the World Cup.

What the US teams really lacks, though, are are some good football songs. There’s Weezer’s “Represent” and not much else.

That’s why I’ve modified this 1990 Irish football song for our team:
