Slate has an interesting article about partisanship in kids. I found it interesting mainly because I was that über-liberal kid and because it used a photo of store mannequins wearing Obama masks:

As soon as I saw it, I rolled my eyes because I see those every single day and I find them really creepy.

My 4-year-old daughter has a knack for picking against whoever I'm rooting for (she was cheering for VA Tech and Memphis earlier this year). So it came as no surprise to me that she wants "Rock" Obama to be our next president.

My mom was quite impressed with my daughter's political awareness (she recognizes pictures of Obama, McCain and Palin--not Biden, though). So she asked Abby, "What do you know about those candidates?" Abby's response: "I know they approve this message!"

Funny...

Yeah, that's pretty darn cute.
