I was at a birthday party on Saturday and was introduced to the most annoying thing ever: the MetroCard clicker.

Query

Do the Norli believe that a President Obama would authorize cross-border attacks into an uncooperative Pakistan?

Comments

My question: is McCain going to call this highly irresponsible?

Or for that matter, I wonder if Bush will admit Obama was right all along...

"Obama said if elected in November 2008 he would be willing to attack inside Pakistan with or without approval from the Pakistani government, a move that would likely cause anxiety in the already troubled region."

That answers my question. Thank you for the links.

I might be less inclined to say "right" and more inclined to say "unwilling to commit the Cambodian Folly".

I wonder if the news was leaked out to neutralize it as a campaign issue. It's tough for Obama to say he'll do it when it's already being done.

Suppose this was leaked to defuse the issue? Hard for Obama to campaign on "I'm for striking within Pakistain" if we're already doing that.

For every "we're already doing that" there's a "he was right all along" voiced; if this was a conscious attempt to neutralize an issue, it was a conspiracy composed-by and intended-for lock-step partisans.

Garmr, I'd like to introduce you to a little something I like to call "America."

"America" or "the dissonant discourse of a million myopic gnomes" ?
