So, I was stuck on the Manhattan bridge inside a crowded B train when my phone rang this evening. It was my mom saying that the family had tickets to the Orange Bowl. If there is one way to help one feel better about spending 40 minutes standing trapped in a subway car, it’s to get a call saying that you’ll get to see KU play in its first Orange Bowl in nearly 40 years.
I just booked my flight.

It's the end of the semester! That means that failed products are in vogue. I wonder what blogs my students are leaving messages on "Pls send me list of symbiotic mutualist by tomorrow," or "It is very urgent that I have insects of West Virginia, correctly labeled to family and ecological niche, ASAP"?

Have pity on those of us who have to deal with Hellx for the next few weeks. Fortunately, Dr. No and I will be traveling and will miss him hitting full boil. Sadly, we will not be traveling to Florida. Lucky Hellx.
