Feeling badly about West Virginia giving Hillary Clinton a landslide victory? Well, don’t! West Virginians are crazy! My favorite is the woman who had this interaction with a reporter:
Old Woman: He’s Muslim, you know, and that has a lot to do with it. I’d just, you know, I’d just rather have Hillary.Reporter: Just for the record, he constantly says that he’s a Christian.
Old Woman: I know he does.
Reporter: You don’t believe him?
Old Woman: (shaking head) No.

Upon returning from a trip to the Smokies, I learn that the ballot I cast early was not the only one in my county for Obama. 33% percent of the voting democrats didn't vote for Clinton (and only 14% voted for Edwards). To be fair many of the WV voters are voting FOR Clinton rather than against Obama and I'm somewhat gratified to see the number of people voting for Hillary for (they would never call it such) feminist reasons. Still, I did yell at a friend recently we she brought up Hussein as a reason not to vote Obama.
