What would the WSJ look like under Murdoch?

There’s been a lot of talk about Rupert Murdoch’s $5 billion bid for the Wall Street Journal. One line of speculation is that Murdoch wants the name so he can put it on Fox’s new financial news channel.

Me? I’m looking forward to more hedcuts of pervs.

Have I mentioned that I live across the street from the house that Rupe built, the Herald Sun building? I subscribe to The Age. Reading an entire paper full of inflammatory headlines about municipal politics gave me a headache.

One sign you are in the heart of darkness, however, is that many bars prominently display a FoxSports sign outside, presumably so you know you'll be able to see the good footy matches inside.

Speaking of which, I'm going to bury this commment way down here so the black helicopters don't come get me: I'm not saying Australian rules football IS gay, but I will say that if I was gay, it's the best thing that could ever happen. Say no more.
