« Press Release of the Day | Main | Gregg Easterbrook! Gregg Easterbrook! »

ESPN: fair and balanced

Conservative Rush Limbaugh got the ax first. Now it’s the liberal Gregg Easterbrook who’s getting the heave-ho.

Comments

I'm not sure I'd call Easterbrook liberal. Perhaps that was the joke. However, I can't help but wonder whether the speed at which the gentleman was put to the curb for comments on an unrelated personal blog may not be somehow related to his jumping of the shark, as discussed earlier on Norlos.

Before I wrote that, I thought about whether Easterbrook could be classified as liberal. Essentially, the decision that I reached is that if Lieberman can be classified as a liberal, then so can Easterbrook. While he advocates some proscriptive positions based on his Christianity, on almost all liberal-conservative litmus test issues he comes down on the liberal side.
